Mirai is leading a team to develop a Countywide Intelligent Transportation
Systems (ITS) Plan for Snohomish County. The Plan identifies a set of ITS
projects that will address the traffic management needs throughout Snohomish
County. The County will incorporate these projects into future comprehensive
planning efforts and budgeting.
Our tasks include documenting existing operations, identifying equipment and
communications infrastructure that support Snohomish County's traffic management
system; and prioritizing a set of needs to guide the County's ITS program for
the next 20 years. The final report documents a complete ITS Operations, Communications, and Funding Plan to guide implementation over the next 20 years.
We are working closely with County staff and our partner HNTB in this effort.
