Mirai used the traffic simulation VISSIM model to analyze eight intersections in the vicinity of Marsh Road/Airport Way/SR 9 in Snohomish, Washington. Using the model we validated the model for traffic counts, speeds, and queues.

We then selected a 2011 design year to analyze the effects of the various roadway improvements to meet Snohomish County’s traffic concurrency requirements.
