Mirai has developed multi-modal transportation plans for urban and suburban centers throughout the Pacific Northwest. We have helped agencies tailor their comprehensive and subarea transportation plans to help achieve land use goals.
Our recent clients include the cities of Auburn, Bothell, Monroe and Kent. For these plans, we have helped create transportation capital project prioritization processes that reflect City policy and community values. Our subarea plans include Seattle's Northgate CTIP, the University (Washington) Area Transportation Study, and the downtown Kirkland Strategic Plan.
We also specialize in corridor studies such as the I-90 Two-Way Transit and HOV EIS
for Sound Transit and the I-405 Corridor EIS for WSDOT. These were multi-year projects requiring the expertise of transportation engineers and travel demand modelers. At the local level, we recently completed the Bothell Connector and Renton Rainier/Hardee Corridor Plan.
