| Our staff developed the first comprehensive transportation impact fee program in Washington state for the City of Bellevue and we
have gone on to
develop programs for numerous Northwest agencies, including the cities of Portland, Olympia, Auburn, Kirkland, Mill Creek, Redmond, Federal Way and Bothell; most recently we developed an
impact fee program for Pierce County adopted in Fall 2006.
For the City of Seattle we developed a transportation mitigation methodology for several modes of travel, including transit, bicycles and pedestrians, as well as single-occupant-vehicles. Currently
we are updating the City of Portland’s successful multi-modal impact fee program.
Concurrency is an important growth management tool. Mirai prepares innovative level of service approaches that allow jurisdictions to balance land use growth with transportation capacity.
